Here we have our modification Service for the Midas 522 compressor module

About the Modifications:

The V1 Midas 522 500 series module already carries the Midas legacy well with good fidelity, performance and reliability but is aimed more at the commercial market than the top tier engineer so we decided to push the design to the standards of the most discerning engineers and increase fidelity across the board.

The results are excellent and worth a Revive Audio offering, V2 is also out, there were simply some cost cutting measures in packaging, but the design is the same.

Modifications include:

 A Rated Vca upgrade, local power supply modifications for lower noise and more current, Noise bypassing, Sidechain Modifications, High Performance Burr Brown input and output stage amplifier modifications, VCA modifications, Panasonic capacitors in all key locations as well as Low noise Wima capacitors and more to push the design to the upper limit.

The service increases the headroom of the unit, widens the frequency response, lowers the noise and increases the detail across all frequencies. In general you get more punch and more weight post modifications that make for one of the best 500 series modules around.
